High school soccer players from all over Japan come together for a controversial project to create the best and most egotistical striker in the world. Based on the sports manga written by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and drawn by Nomura Yuusuke. Spin-off Синя в' язниця -Епизод Наґі- (2024). This is amazing, and not just because I’m a soccer fan. My friend put me on this show and he hates soccer, even calling them “foot fairies”. Blue Lock adds a refreshing spin to the relatively bland anime sports genre. No one is perfect, and we all have our strengths and weaknesses, this show really understands that concept and runs with it. The animation is a bit rough at times, but it makes up for it in the bad moments. This show is the definition of epic scenes filled with victory and character building. Each character has a moment of introspection, and I can appreciate Isagi’s character progression. There are parts of this show that true football fans can appreciate, but it’s also appealing to those who may not like football. Each character is different and uniquely great in their own way. Please do me a favor and watch the show, you won’t regret it…
